Fenway ‘Ch. Neut Ch. Dygae Sweet Caroline ADX. JDX. RE. SD. SPD. SWA. TD. TK.N’ the Welsh Corgi (Pembroke) is co-owned by Carolyn and Mel Smith of Clarony Pembroke Welsh Corgis and bred by Dygae Pembroke Welsh Corgis (Di & Gary Baillie).
“Fenway is nine years old and successfully competes in several Dogs Australia sports, holding titles in Agility, Jumping, Games, Rally, Scent Work, Tricks, Tracking and is undergoing training for Track and Search.
Fenway is an allrounder and excels at any sport she’s introduced to, she is what we strive to breed with ‘form meets function’. Fenway is a great breed advocate, showcasing and educating how truly versatile the Pembroke Welsh Corgi breed can be.
Fenway holds her Instinct Test on sheep and previously competed in ‘Battle of the States’ 100m Sprint (before Sprint Racing was introduced).
She recently received her Novice Strategic Pairs Title at the State Championships and was Novice Strategic Pairs State Champion.
Fenway has also competed in the conformation ring, a highlight being in 2018 Fenway was awarded the prestigious Thelma Gray Memorial Queen’s trophy for the Best of Breed Pembroke Welsh Corgi at the Adelaide Hills Kennel Club show.
She has returned to the ring sporadically showing in neuter and continues to do well with multiple Best Neuter in Group/Show awards. Fenway is sassy, and while always has a lot to say, she is beautifully loyal and really enjoys her time on the couch after her busy sporting schedule.”
