I would just like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Donna Borg; I am married with 3 children and 10 grandchildren. I have had Corgis all my life. My mum bred corgis and I was showing and had a few litters about 30 years ago. Then I had my own family and while I kept corgis as pets I gave up showing and breeding to raise my children. I got back into showing about 15 years ago and have had 10 litters. I currently own four corgi’s Whitney (CH.NEUT CH. Anwyl Just One Kiss JD) her granddaughter Xyra (CH.NEUT CH. Nesbo Xyra A Lite Kiss) Xyras son Casey (CH. Nesbo A Kiss From Heaven) and Rose (Anwyl Sweeter Than Wine) We moved to 3½ acres in the Kurrajong area 7 years ago. Plenty of room for my dogs to run and chase each other. My dogs are all family. They are walked around our property twice a day & love to do some training to keep their mind active. In summer they love a swim in the dam. I have just started competing in Spring trials with Rose and hopefully start Casey in the New Year.
My primary aim is to breed quality dogs with lovely temperaments. I believe that it doesn’t matter how beautiful something is, if you cannot live with it, then it has no place! To that end, I breed for temperament and conformation.
To help me make an informed decision on future owners I like to send out a Questionnaire so I am able have some information about your previous corgi owning history or why you have chosen to own a corgi, your living situation and plans for raising the puppy. I like to have this information from potential puppy purchasers to ensure that they are happy with me and more importantly, that I am satisfied with the home that a purchaser can offer one of my precious babies.
When puppies are a few weeks old and all doing well, I will make contact with those I feel suitable.
I am happy for potential puppy owners to visit when the puppies are of a suitable age. Should you wish to purchase a puppy a payment of 50% of purchase price will be required at this visit and I will give you your puppy diet instructions and other information when you visit, or e-mail them well ahead of 8 weeks, so you can read, get everything ready and ask us any questions. You will also receive a puppy pack from Royal Canin, the brand of dog dry feed I use.
