The Welsh Corgi Club of NSW is proud to be represented in the Working Dog Group at the ADVANCE™ Sydney Royal Dog Show, where both Welsh Cardigan Corgi and Welsh Pembroke Corgi compete at the highest level alongside Australia’s leading herding breeds.
The Corgi rings consistently reflect the depth of quality within the breeds, with strong entries across all classes — from promising young puppies through to accomplished champions.

Warner Céspedes Arias began his involvement in the dog show world as an exhibitor of German Shepherd Dogs, achieving success both in Costa Rica and internationally.
With an interest in helping to grow the purebred canine world, he later expanded into breeding English Pointers and English Setters, producing numerous national and international champions, and has also bred a variety of other breeds including Dobermanns, Papillons and Pugs. He’s also bred Australian Terriers, Papillons, Wire Fox Terriers, Pugs, Pekingese and later Dobermanns which he is still heavily involved with.
A lawyer by profession, he has represented Costa Rica at FCI assemblies for over a decade and serves as President of the Society of Exchange of Latin American Canofilia SICALAM. He has judged extensively across the globe, including Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas.
ADVANCE™ Sydney Royal Dog Show – General Specials Judge (Group 5)
Antonio Almeida began his involvement in the dog show world at just eight years of age, achieving early success as a Best Handler in both junior and adult competitions.
Over the years, he has worked with a wide range of breeds including German Shepherd Dogs, Boxers, Shar Pei, Siberian Huskies, Rottweilers and Shih Tzu. He later focused on Basenjis under his Belaxe Kennel, producing numerous champions and Best in Show winners.
In addition to his work as a practicing attorney in Macau, Antonio has had the privilege of judging in countries around the world including Japan, Canada, Brazil, the Philippines and Russia.
